Description
**Collection of Japanese Decorative Items and Figurines**

This collection consists of multiple Japanese decorative pieces including ceramic figurines, lanterns, and a collector's plate. The centerpiece is a 1983 Imperial Chokin collector's plate (#159 of 3,500) featuring a multi-tiered pagoda with cherry blossoms in relief technique on a dark navy rim with gold accents, measuring approximately 10" in diameter. The ceramic figurines include scholars or wise men in traditional robes (approximately 6-8" tall), a female dancer in colorful attire (8-10" tall), and smaller seated figures (4-6" tall). Two decorative stone lanterns in celadon green finish measure roughly 8-10" in height.

The pieces appear to be in good to excellent condition with no visible chips or cracks. The Imperial Chokin plate shows the characteristic raised relief work and gold detailing typical of this technique. The ceramic figurines display fine hand-painted details and glazing consistent with mid-to-late 20th century Japanese export ceramics. The lanterns show some natural patina consistent with their stone-like material. A small porcelain piece with pink floral decoration appears to be a decorative vessel or trinket box.

Based on the Imperial Chokin marking and the overall quality of the ceramic work, these pieces likely date from the 1970s-1990s. The collection represents typical Japanese decorative arts exported during this period, combining traditional motifs with commercial production techniques.

**Estimated Value: $200-400** for the complete collection, with the Imperial Chokin plate ($50-80), the larger figurines ($25-50 each), and the stone lanterns ($30-60 each) representing the higher-value pieces. Values based on current secondary market prices for similar Japanese decorative ceramics and limited edition collector plates.
