Description
This is a Boss Metal Zone MT-2 guitar effects pedal, a heavy metal distortion stompbox housed in a sturdy metal enclosure with a dark gray/charcoal finish. The pedal features the classic Boss compact pedal design with rounded corners and the distinctive Boss logo embossed on the lower portion.
The unit measures approximately 2.9" × 5.1" × 2.4" (74mm × 129mm × 59mm), which is the standard Boss compact pedal footprint. The top panel contains four control knobs with ribbed metal caps for Level, Low, Middle (with mid frequency selector), and High parameters. A red LED indicator is positioned at the top center between "CHECK" and "BATTERY" labels. Input and output jacks are clearly marked with yellow arrows on either side of the pedal.
The condition appears good to very good with some visible wear and dust accumulation on the surface, particularly around the knobs and control panel. There are minor scuffs and signs of use consistent with a working musician's pedal, but no significant damage or missing parts are apparent. The MT-2 was first introduced by Boss in 1991 and has remained largely unchanged, making precise dating difficult without examining the serial number on the bottom plate.
