This is a double-edged fighting knife or dagger featuring a straight, symmetrical blade with a leather-wrapped handle and simple crossguard. The blade appears to be made of steel with a satin finish and shows moderate surface rust/patina throughout. The handle is wrapped in brown leather cord in a traditional spiral pattern, terminating in what appears to be a metal pommel cap.
Based on the ruler measurements visible in the images, the overall length is approximately 18-19 inches, with the blade measuring roughly 12-13 inches and the handle approximately 6 inches. The blade width appears to be about 1 inch at its widest point.
